KOLON announced on the 27th that it will transition Netmarble's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to 'SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.'
Through this project, Netmarble will transition from the existing SAP ECC 6.0 to the latest cloud-based system. KOLON is currently working on the transition, which will take about seven months, and aims to complete the implementation by August of this year after verifying system stability and performance improvements through multiple rehearsal tests.
The new system is built on the cloud, enhancing flexibility and scalability, and features improved interconnectivity with existing external systems, ensuring business continuity. During the transition process, performance optimization tasks for SAP application modules, including Financial Accounting (FI), Treasury (TR), and Controlling (CO), will also be conducted.
KOLON is continuously expanding its business aimed at system innovation for corporate clients based on its experiences in next-generation ERP transitions. Last year, it transitioned SAP S/4HANA systems for approximately 30 subsidiaries of the Kolon Group to Cloud Private Edition, which the company noted has increased customer satisfaction.
Jung Joo-young, executive director of KOLON, said, "I hope that through the establishment of the next-generation ERP system, Netmarble will enhance its business productivity," adding, "We will support the digital transformation (DX) based on cloud ERP and the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) through our extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA transition projects in the country."
