Samsung Electronics announced on the 27th that it will introduce a climate control system, 'Bespoke Artificial Intelligence (AI) Air Combo,' that manages indoor comfort throughout the four seasons.
The Bespoke AI Air Combo is a ventilation device that completes a residential integrated climate control system by consolidating with home air conditioning systems.
It draws in indoor polluted air, discharges it, and supplies filtered comfortable outside air, removing humidity, carbon dioxide, fine dust, and more to the living room and other indoor spaces.
It is also equipped with a 'constant temperature dehumidification module' that can dehumidify up to 32 liters per day. There is no need to empty a separate water tank as moisture is discharged through separate piping.
Additionally, it features a four-step clean care system that includes a micro filter that removes large particles, a dust filter that eliminates ultrafine dust and inhibits bacterial growth, a Wash Clean that manages the heat exchanger, and a UV-C fan that sterilizes the airflow.
The product's noise level is also reduced to 26 dB (decibels), making it usable in situations that require sleep or concentration.
The design allows users to easily replace or clean consumables such as filters. It also provides notifications for filter management through a wired remote control or SmartThings.
In particular, the integrated climate control system, which combines the Bespoke AI Air Combo with home air conditioning, features AI functions for indoor environment learning and energy savings, providing a more convenient and advanced air management experience.
When operating to maintain the most comfortable humidity level of 40 to 60%, using the air combo together with the air conditioning can save up to 40% more energy than using the air conditioning alone.
In addition, it supports various AI modes that manage air according to surrounding circumstances, such as AI comfort, circulation purification mode, automatic ventilation mode, outdoor purification mode, and circulation dehumidification mode.
The Bespoke AI Air Combo has a performance of up to 200 CMH (cubic meters per hour), which can ventilate a space of approximately 50 pyeong.
The new product can be purchased together with Samsung home air conditioning systems, which were launched after March of this year, at all Samsung stores and Samsung.com, and the integrated climate control system can be installed in just one day.
A representative from Samsung Electronics noted, 'As consumer interest in indoor air quality management is increasing, the Bespoke AI Air Combo allows for the management of cooling, ventilation, dehumidification, and purification all at once,' and added, 'Through this new product, we plan to provide consumers with a more comfortable daily life.'
