KRAFTON's creative studio Lelulogames announced that it will begin recruiting participants for the closed beta test (CBT) of its new title 'Mimesis' starting on the 26th.

Applications for this test can be submitted from May 26th to June 2nd via the Mimesis Steam page and the official Lelulogames social media channels, with the test being conducted over four days from June 4th to 7th. Participants will be selected through a lottery, and a Steam game key that can be used after the official release will be provided as a reward.

This test, named 'Survivor Test: Day 1', depicts the process of a small group of survivors living in a devastated world.

Mimesis is an AI-based four-person cooperative psychological horror game set in a world where certain humans have mutated into 'Mimesis' that replicate the voices, memories, and actions of others due to an unknown mist. Players must collect resources and cooperate with team members while escaping on a tram in a dangerous area, all while suspecting that one of their teammates may have been replaced by a Mimesis.

The game's main feature is psychological warfare using deception and disruption. Mimesis employs reinforcement learning-based AI technology to create natural speech patterns and behaviors just like real people, prompting players to constantly question the identity of their teammates.

Lelulogames stated that through this test, it will review whether the psychological elements of the game work effectively and plan to enhance its quality by reflecting user feedback.

Mimesis plans to participate in Steam's 'Steam Next Fest' from June 10th to 17th, where a demo will be unveiled after the test concludes.
