Samsung Electronics announced on the 23rd that it has released the ultra-slim smartphone Galaxy S25 Edge in South Korea.
The Galaxy S25 Edge features a design that is the thinnest among all Galaxy S series models while maintaining robust durability. It achieves an ultra-slim and lightweight design with a thickness of 5.8 mm and a weight of 163 g.
The 256GB and 512GB models are available for purchase at 1,496,000 won and 1,639,000 won, respectively.
Samsung Electronics conducted pre-sales for the Galaxy S25 Edge from the 14th to the 20th. According to Samsung.com, half of the buyers were in their 30s. The most popular color is titanium silver.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with the same Galaxy Snapdragon 8 Elite as the S25 series, providing fast and stable performance.
It also features a 200-megapixel ultra-high-definition wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It supports auto-focus for macro photography, and front log video capabilities have been incorporated for the first time.
Roh Tae-Moon, President of Samsung Electronics' DX Division, noted, "The Galaxy S25 Edge is the result of condensing the best technologies without compromising on design and performance," adding, "I hope you experience the value and possibilities of the new mobile experience that ultra-slim smartphones offer."
