KT announced on the 21st that it will strengthen compliance management by introducing AI technology into its legal system.

The AI that KT utilizes for litigation and legal consulting has been trained on approximately 100,000 cases of business-related lawsuits, contracts, and consulting data. It organizes litigation-related documents into databases for integrated searching and analysis by type, and it features automatic linking for Supreme Court case searches, synchronization of a schedule calendar, and case management functions by level.

In the field of legal consulting, features have been introduced such as automatic recommendation of similar cases when reviewing contracts, AI-based drafting of consulting documents, contract comparisons, content summaries, and categorization by clause. The AI handles document classification and analysis, reducing human error and enabling swift identification of legal risks.

Since its introduction, manual management of litigation cases has decreased by more than 50%, and the time spent on legal consulting has been shortened by more than 30%. KT plans to further develop its legal system by adding features such as automatic detection of problematic clauses and ambiguous wording, as well as providing alternative solutions under a "contract pre-checklist."
