On the 21st, ESTsoft announced that it has launched a Chrome extension to enhance the usability of its artificial intelligence (AI) search engine service, 'Alan.'
The newly released Chrome extension can be utilized not only on search sites like Google and Naver but also on browsers that support extensions such as Microsoft Edge and Naver Whale. It operates in the form of a floating widget, designed to allow users to intuitively access AI search functions across various contents, including web pages and YouTube videos.
Users can utilize features that summarize the web page they are viewing in three lines, highlight important sentences, suggest additional questions, and access button-type features like 'summarize,' 'translate,' and 'easy reading.' The extension also supports a YouTube video summary feature, enhancing the efficiency of video exploration through video script provision and sentence-by-sentence playback functionality.
Additionally, it includes a feature that provides additional information through web searches in cases where the video lacks sufficient information.
An ESTsoft official noted, 'We planned the Chrome extension version so that more users can intuitively experience Alan, and we hope that the AI search engine service Alan will be utilized in various environments.'
