“SK hynix is doing very well. I am proud of SK hynix. Please support the 6th generation high bandwidth memory (HBM4) well.”

Jensen Huang, chief executive officer (CEO) of NVIDIA, visited the SK hynix exhibition at Computex 2025, the largest IT and computing exhibition in Asia, held on the 20th in Taipei's Nangang Exhibition Center. Around 5:15 p.m. on that day, CEO Huang visited the SK hynix exhibition and, guided by CEO Kim Joo-sun, personally viewed SK hynix's memory product lineup.

SK hynix participated in Computex 2025 from the 20th to the 23rd, setting up a booth on the 4th floor of Exhibition Hall 1. Here, SK hynix showcased next-generation memory solutions including high bandwidth memory (HBM), advanced DRAM, graphics DRAM (GDDR7), low-power DRAM (LPDDRX), solid-state drives (SSD), and systems on chip (SOCAMM).

Upon entering the exhibition hall, CEO Huang energized the atmosphere by chanting “Go SK!” He then encouraged the SK hynix employees, saying, “You are doing really well. SK hynix is No. 1,” and wrapped up his 10-minute visit by taking a group photo.

SK hynix is the largest supplier of HBM used in NVIDIA AI accelerators. While Micron plans to supply HBM3E 8-layer products to NVIDIA, SK hynix has effectively supplied the HBM applied in NVIDIA AI accelerators exclusively until now. SK hynix plans to supply HBM3E 12-layer products to NVIDIA starting in the second quarter.

On that day, CEO Huang also signed the HBM4 exhibited by SK hynix. SK hynix was the first in the industry to deliver 6th generation HBM4 samples to clients, including NVIDIA. HBM4 is expected to be mounted in NVIDIA's next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator, Rubin.

Last year, at the ‘SK AI Summit 2024,’ CEO Huang stated through a video, “Through collaboration with SK hynix, we were able to achieve advancements beyond Moore's Law by executing accurate and structured operations with a smaller amount of memory,” adding, “We still need more of SK hynix's HBM.”

On that day, after touring the exhibits of MSI, Supermicro, and ASUS, CEO Huang finally visited the SK hynix exhibition.
