Samsung SDS announced on the 16th that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for the Ministry of Interior and Safety's 'Government-wide super-large artificial intelligence (AI) common infrastructure implementation' project.

According to the Public Procurement Service's Korea ON-Line E-Procurement System, the Samsung SDS consortium ranked first in this project, which was opened for bidding on the 15th, receiving a total score of 99.9906, beating the LG CNS consortium (98.5) and KT consortium (96.6907).

This project applied the Public Procurement Service's specialized evaluation method, which evaluates common areas and institutional sectors separately, and particularly, the Samsung SDS consortium received high scores in the institutional sector focused on evaluating AI technology capabilities.

The 'Government-wide super-large AI common infrastructure implementation' project aims to provide a foundation for public officials to utilize generative AI services without security concerns. The objective is to provide comprehensive resources such as computing equipment, data, and development and operating environments that are commonly used when the government and local governments plan and implement AI services.

Samsung SDS plans to provide the generative AI service platform 'FabriX' in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS) within the Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) zone of the Daegu Public-Private Partnership (PPP) center, and intends to collaborate with consortium partners such as Naver Cloud, Serim TSG, and TUI Consulting to推进 the project.

The project duration is approximately seven months, from June to December 2025, with an allocated budget of about 9 billion won. Samsung SDS is also concurrently working on the 'Intelligent Work Management Platform Construction' project, for which it was selected as the preferred bidder on April 30.
