The National Intelligence Service announced that, in order to strengthen its response posture against domestic and international cyber threats ahead of the presidential election on June 3, it has raised the cyber crisis alert level from the existing "attention" stage to the "caution" stage from 9 a.m. on June 16 to midnight on June 4.
Each agency must carry out response activities in accordance with the cyber crisis "caution" alert level and must immediately notify the National Cyber Security Center and the National Security Office in case of any unusual signs, such as cyberattacks or network disruptions.
Additionally, they must disseminate the "caution" alert to their affiliated and subordinate organizations and implement technical and managerial security measures. This is based on the "cyber crisis response standard manual" and the individual agency's "cyber crisis response practical manual."
