Pearl Abyss announced on the 14th that it recorded a consolidated revenue of 83.7 billion won, an operating loss of 5.2 billion won, and a net income of 500 million won for the first quarter of 2025.

Revenue decreased by 2% compared to the same period last year. Operating profit turned to loss due to increased expenses in the development of new games at CCP Games, and net income fell by 96.1% due to a decline in evaluation profits from investments and foreign exchange gains.

80% of total revenue was generated overseas.

The game 'Black Desert' continued to gain popularity with updates of the new fantasy horse 'Voltairon' and the cooperative dungeon 'AtoRaxion' in the first quarter, and a global release of the PS5 and Xbox X|S versions was also announced. 'EVE Online' unveiled its 2025 roadmap along with updates for the 'Revenant' expansion pack.

The anticipated title 'Crimson Desert' received praise for its high-quality graphics and physical effects during a demonstration of its self-developed Black Space Engine at the Game Developers Conference (GDC 2025) held in San Francisco, USA, in March. Following this, its first North American demonstration event was held at PAX EAST in Boston, USA. Pearl Abyss plans to gradually expand the global demonstrations of Crimson Desert.
