KT announced on the 14th that it will enhance its business-to-business (B2B) security services based on artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. The company’s leading security services, "Clean Zone" and "AI Mail Security," are service-based security (SECaaS) products that provide a safe digital environment for corporations without the need for additional equipment installation.

"Clean Zone" is a system that blocks distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. When an attack occurs, it blocks harmful traffic and delivers only normal traffic to the corporation's server. This system utilizes a database of over 5.3 million threat information entries and AI to block large-scale attacks in real time. Additionally, it holds a patent for Out of Path technology and offers preemptive measures such as mock training and monthly reports. KT plans to double the defensive capacity of Clean Zone and introduce a customer-specific monitoring dashboard.

"AI Mail Security" is a service that blocks various cyber attacks such as spam mail, phishing, and ransomware through email. It analyzes the sender, attachments, URLs, and more in real time based on AI to detect and block attacks. KT plans to enhance the threat mail blocking report function by applying AI large language models (LLMs). Through this, it will be easier to establish threat analysis and response plans.

"AI Mail Security" analyzes an average of 600,000 data entries per day and has blocked over 13,000 malicious emails that the existing security solutions could not detect, including advanced persistent threat (APT) attacks. Furthermore, through a specialized email database and AI model training in the country, it detects and blocks attacks occurring domestically, such as Korean phishing or large attachments, in real time.
