Autodesk Korea announced on the 13th that it has appointed Oh Chan-joo as the new representative.

Oh Chan-joo joined Autodesk Korea in 2017 and led major institutional sectors such as media & entertainment (M&E) and architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), serving as the head of corporate business. Previously, he was responsible for telecommunications, media, gaming, and corporate and public solutions at Microsoft Korea, trained in software engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, and served as an adjunct professor at Gyeonggi University’s Graduate School of Information and Communication. He also acted as an advisory committee member for the IT division of the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards.

With more than 30 years of experience in the IT and software industry, he is expected to continue driving the digital transformation of AEC, manufacturing (D&M), and M&E industries based on artificial intelligence (AI) and industry cloud technologies at Autodesk Korea. He will also work on enhancing productivity, fostering inter-industry collaboration, and supporting innovation.

The company plans to strengthen its efforts to realize social values, including nurturing technological talents, enhancing digital capabilities, and expanding collaboration among industries. To this end, it will improve access to software and learning resources for students and teachers, enhance industry-academia collaboration, and prepare digital transformation consulting and training programs for startups and small- and medium-sized enterprises. It will provide partners with customized support for enhancing digital capabilities and an implementation guide.
