Nexon announced on the 13th that it recorded an operating profit of 395.2 billion won for the 2025 first quarter consolidation results.

First quarter revenue was 1.08 trillion won, a 5% increase compared to the same period last year, with major franchise sales such as "Dungeon & Fighter," "MapleStory," and "FC" increasing by 21%. "Dungeon & Fighter" saw a rebound due to the New Year update and improvements in the in-game economic balance in China, while the "Middle Heaven" update contributed to its resurgence in South Korea. "MapleStory" led performance with a 43% revenue increase in South Korea compared to the previous year due to a winter large-scale update.

New titles "First Berserker: Kazan" and "Mabinogi Mobile," launched at the end of March, also contributed to the results. "Kazan," a single package game based on PC and console, received praise, while "Mabinogi Mobile" recorded high revenue rankings in the two major app markets.

Nexon has announced various new titles expected this year, including the launch of "Ark Raiders." Notable titles include the "Dave the Diver" DLC, the "Vindictus: Defying Fate" global alpha test, "Paradise: LAST PARADISE," and "Dungeon & Fighter: Arad."

Lee Jeong-heon, representative of Nexon Japan, noted, "The recovery of franchises and the success of new titles have combined to yield meaningful results," adding, "We will continue to introduce new games through strong IP, live capabilities, and strategic partnerships."

Meanwhile, Nexon has completed the acquisition of 30.3 billion yen of its planned buyback program worth a total of 100 billion yen, and it plans to purchase an additional 19.7 billion yen by the end of June.
