AhnLab announced on the 12th that it participated in the international cyber defense drill 'Locked Shields 2025,' which took place from May 5 to 9.

'Locked Shields' is the world's largest cyber defense exercise held annually under the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Cooperative Cyber Defense Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE), aimed at enhancing the cyber crisis response capabilities among NATO member countries.

AhnLab’s threat response and analysis personnel participated as part of the blue team (defensive team) of the Republic of Korea-Canada national alliance team, carrying out missions in the 'technical training' field, including blocking malware spread, analyzing attack backers, identifying causes of breaches, and securing evidence.

AhnLab also provided its endpoint security solutions, including 'AhnLab EDR,' 'AhnLab V3,' and 'AhnLab EPP,' to the alliance team. These solutions support the entire process from malware detection to endpoint threat response and contributed to implementing a defense environment similar to actual situations.

AhnLab CEO Kang Seok-kyun noted, 'In this exercise, AhnLab demonstrated its global-level response capabilities accumulated over 30 years based on the expertise of its employees in analysis and response and the performance of its endpoint security solutions,' and added, 'We will continue to strive to contribute to strengthening international cybersecurity capabilities in response to evolving global cyber threats.'
