On the 11th, LG Electronics announced that it has newly decorated its customer experience space, 'Ground 220', allowing for desserts to be made using its kitchen appliances.
Located in Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Ground 220 is a space that LG Electronics established at the end of 2023 to periodically deliver new value to customers. The company recently applied a new theme, 'Co-Creation,' to this space.
In the new 'Foodie Ground,' visitors can purchase ingredients to create menus such as snacks, desserts, and beverages. The company noted, 'While making various desserts, young generation (YG) customers can naturally experience the differentiated features of kitchen appliances.'
In addition, various experiential events are held, including the 'Vibe Ground,' where customers enjoy online video service (OTT) content using LG StandByMe 2, XBoom Buzz, OLED TV, and Sound Bar; the 'Live Ground,' featuring music concerts using LG XBoom and an artificial intelligence (AI) video production class taught with LG Gram; and the 'Custom Ground,' where visitors create their own StandByMe 2 wallpapers and T-shirts with images they generate.
This year, 6 out of 10 visitors who joined Ground 220 as members are YG. Kim Seo-yeon, in charge of CX promotion at LG Electronics, said, 'Through Ground 220, which communicates with YG customers in a new way, like a playground, we will continue to provide a differentiated customer experience with various LG Electronics products and experiences.'
