KRAFTON announced on the 8th that it will collaborate with the popular animation "Attack on Titan" in Battlegrounds Mobile.
This collaboration will take place from May 8th to July 6th and will provide content reflecting the "Attack on Titan" universe, such as traveling on a giant steam train or battling giants in the new themed mode "Steam Punk Theme Mode."
In the new area "Utgard Castle," scenes from the original work where towers collapse due to the attack of giants will be recreated in real-time, and users can join the battle by transforming into giants using "spinal fluid." Notably, using the "Attack on Titan spinal fluid" allows transformation into the protagonist giant from the original work, and this item is expected to be a rare strategic element, appearing only as a single bottle on the map.
Additionally, users can engage in high-speed movement and aerial combat using the original's core equipment, the "Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear," and a special event featuring colossal giants will be set up in the northeast region of the Erangel map.
Various limited items such as costumes, helmets, backpacks, weapons, and buddies themed around "Attack on Titan" are scheduled to be gradually unveiled starting on May 30th.
