KT Skylife announced on the 8th that its first-quarter revenue reached 242.881 billion won, and operating profit was 5.17 billion won. Although revenue decreased by 4.5% compared to the same period last year, operating profit increased by 78%, marking a successful turn to profitability.

KT Skylife plans to strengthen its competitiveness by restructuring its existing business. The company aims to improve the quality of subscribers for the Telecommunications Product Service (TPS) (broadcast, internet, mobile bundled products) and enhance its cost structure, while also increasing the competitiveness of ENA channels. Additionally, it has plans to improve profitability through the efficiency of capital expenditures (CAPEX).

Furthermore, the company plans to unveil Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) this year and revamp related products. It also plans to launch an artificial intelligence (AI) sports bundled product in the second quarter and expand its business utilizing ENA content.
