Raonsecure's subsidiary Raonmeta announced on the 8th that it will provide an environment for practical training for the medical national examination through the metaverse-based training platform 'Metademy.'

Raonmeta has signed a business agreement with MindsAI to jointly develop medical practice content utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based metaverse technology. The first collaboration task will support aspiring doctors to experience physical examination practical tests in a virtual reality (VR) environment by loading MindsAI's Clinical Performance Examination (CPX) practice content onto Metademy.

The AI virtual patient implemented in Metademy responds to voice instructions and moves according to eye gaze, functioning like real patients, allowing for various examination training including facial, limb, and cerebellar neurological examinations as well as chest and abdominal examinations. It is expected to enhance educational efficiency and accessibility by enabling diagnostic practice without standardized patients.

Raonmeta has previously applied Metademy to various medical education, including nursing skills, physical therapy, and laboratory animal autopsy practice. MindsAI has developed various digital healthcare technologies, including devices for mental health diagnosis and cognitive impairment diagnosis for the elderly, and the two companies plan to continue technology exchange and content expansion starting with this collaboration.

Yoon Won-seok, head of the Metademy project at Raonmeta, said, “We are now able to provide substantial benefits to both medical students and patients,” and noted, “We will lead innovation in the digital healthcare field.”
