Samsung Electronics announced on the 7th that its smartphone "Galaxy S25" has received the "2025 ReMA Recycling Design Award" from the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) in North America.
"Recycling Design Award" is an award presented by the Recycled Materials Association in North America since 2006. It is awarded to products that receive the highest scores in sustainability aspects, based on a comprehensive evaluation of the application of recycled materials, minimization of environmental impact during the production process, ease of product recycling, and economic viability of recycling.
Daniel Araujo, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics' MX Division Sustainable Management Office, said, "Samsung Electronics has been striving to reflect sustainability elements in every stage of product development, and the Galaxy S25 will continue to drive efforts to create a sustainable environment for future generations, based on cutting-edge technology innovation and a sense of responsibility towards the environment."
