LG Display announced on the 6th that it will participate in the world's largest display exhibition, 'SID 2025,' showcasing various types of automotive display technologies.

At this exhibition, which will be held in San Jose, USA, starting on the 13th (local time), LG Display will present various display products considering in-vehicle applications under the theme 'Driving the future.'

The exhibition products include a ▲stretchable display that expands up to 50%, a ▲57-inch pillar-to-pillar display spanning across the front of the vehicle from the driver's seat to the passenger seat, and an ▲18-inch slidable OLED that unfolds from the ceiling when needed.

The stretchable display implements high resolution and RGB full color and can be configured in an integrated form with buttons and screens applied to the vehicle's center fascia. The slidable OLED is installed in the vehicle's ceiling and unfolds when necessary, allowing efficient utilization of display space.

Additionally, LG Display will introduce a feature through its ▲SPM (Switchable Privacy Mode) technology that prevents specific screens from being visible to the driver's line of sight.

LG Display is expanding its automotive product line based on various display technologies such as P-OLED, ATO (Advanced Thin OLED), and LTPS LCD.

Kwon Geuk-sang, head of the Auto Business Group at LG Display, said, 'We will continue to develop technologies tailored to customer needs and strive to enhance our competitiveness in the automotive display sector.'
