On the 2nd, Ridibooks Corporation, which operates the content platform Ridibooks, announced that it will conduct an event where the popular Japanese comic "Windbreaker" can be enjoyed for free.

The comic "Windbreaker," which Ridibooks is directly importing, is a school drama that deals with the passion and friendship of high school students who protect their town. It was a hit work that recorded a global cumulative circulation of 6.5 million copies over the past year. In particular, the original comic's sales surged more than 80 times after the airing of the anime of the same name last year, and the print edition sold out on the first day of publication, proving its explosive popularity.

Ridibooks provides a 24-hour lending ticket to enjoy e-books volumes 1 to 13 of the comic "Windbreaker" for free and conducts various events, including a half-price discount for a complete set. In particular, among customers who purchase the complete set of "Windbreaker," a lottery will be held to give away invitations to a signing event with author Satoru Niii.

Starting with "Windbreaker," Ridibooks will fully launch the "Comics are Ridibooks" campaign throughout May. The company plans to showcase large outdoor advertisements in key areas such as Hongdae Station and major spaces like Gimpo and Jeju airports, providing various benefits for comic fans to enjoy popular comics without burdens.

A Ridibooks official noted, "We prepared this campaign to repay the support we received from Ridibooks comic fans last year." They added, "We plan to continue to present a variety of popular works, starting from directly imported Japanese comics, so we ask for your continued interest."
