On May 2, the fintech security company ATON announced that it sponsored a creativity support fund for children at the Samdong Voice Town welfare facility in celebration of Children's Day.

On the 30th, ATON visited Samdong Voice Town located in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul, to deliver the sponsorship funds. It will be used to create a forward-looking learning environment, including tablet PCs, educational coding kits, and AI education software, to enhance children's creative thinking and digital capabilities.

Ham Seong-jin, Deputy Minister of Business Strategy at ATON, said, “In celebration of Children's Day, we want to help create an environment where children can dream of the future, going beyond simple material support,” adding, “We will continue to provide ongoing support to help children develop the competencies needed in the digital age and unleash their creativity.”

Established in 1952 to provide shelter for children who lost their families during the Korean War, Samdong Voice Town currently supports about 50 children and adolescents. It operates various nurturing programs to ensure healthy growth and the ability to become self-reliant.

Meanwhile, as part of its community support project in Mapo District, ATON formed a sisterhood relationship with Samdong Voice Town in 2021 and provided learning LED TVs, laptops, winter clothing, facility interior renewal, and medical welfare expenses for children excluded from medical insurance for surgical treatments and emergency care. At the end of last year, it continued its support by donating funds for child psychological therapy.
