Samsung Electronics announced on the 1st that it will start the "Samsung OLED trade-in compensation" promotion for customers purchasing its OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TVs.
Customers who purchase the Samsung OLED event model and return their old TVs will receive benefits in the form of 300,000 won worth of Samsung Electronics membership points.
The event will be held from today until the 30th of next month through online and offline channels such as Samsung Store and Samsung.com, and benefits will be provided regardless of the manufacturer of the TV returned.
Samsung Electronics is enhancing the competitiveness of its OLED TVs by launching the 2025 Samsung OLED lineup equipped with a more powerful "third generation AI 4K processor."
Kang Jin-seon, executive director of Samsung Electronics Korea, noted, "The promotion was prepared so that more customers can enjoy the vivid and immersive content viewing experience of Samsung OLED."
