Artificial Intelligence (AI) service corporation ESTsoft announced on the 30th that it has signed a contract with the Gyeonggi Provincial Government to supply AI human video production and auto dubbing service PERSO.ai.
This contract was conducted for the purpose of actively utilizing AI technology to enhance the efficiency of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government’s administrative promotions and strengthen communication with residents, as well as to improve competitiveness in related tasks. In the future, ESTsoft will provide high-quality video generation services by producing AI announcers for the Gyeonggi Provincial Government.
Both sides expect that the introduction of PERSO.ai will invigorate communication with residents and global exchanges at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, while also increasing efficiency in video production-related work. In particular, the AI announcer will serve as the anchor for GTV Gyeonggi Provincial Government Broadcasting Station news and will be used in various ways for administrative news and various promotional videos, as well as major events organized by each office and department.
PERSO.ai is a SaaS-based AI solution that can create multilingual voice and video automatically with just text input, establishing an environment that enhances the work efficiency of public institutions and is rapidly gaining traction as a generative AI tool. Currently, in addition to the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, Korea Expressway Corporation, and the National Information Society Agency (NIA) are also adopting and utilizing PERSO.ai.
As the use of PERSO.ai expands in various government departments and institutions, ESTsoft is also strengthening the stability and ethical use of AI services. To this end, in November of last year, it joined the global alliance C2PA, led by Adobe and the BBC, as the second domestic corporation after Naver to establish AI watermark technology standards. Recently, it has also been preparing to build an AI ethics self-assessment checklist in the field of video synthesis in cooperation with the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI).
