T Map Mobility announced on the 30th that it will provide information on Children's Day events held nationwide in collaboration with the Korea Youth Rights Protection Agency.
The information provided includes over 400 events organized by local governments, educational offices, and public agencies nationwide, where event details such as location, time, and programs can be checked through the T Map (TMAP) navigation and public transportation app. Users can also find nearby events in real time based on their current location, and related information can be found in the T Map search bar under the "Children's Day" button or in the "T Map Tips" section until 10 a.m. on May 8.
In celebration of Family Month, T Map Mobility has also established a special section for "Family Month" in its recommended locations service "Where to Go." The service recommends places suitable for family visits based on major holidays such as Children's Day and Parents' Day, and popular dining spots can be quickly searched using 12 filters. This service will operate until May 31.
Lee Don-soo, leader of local infrastructure at T Map Mobility, noted, "In an effort to expand user experience not only by providing optimal route guidance but also by exploring locations before and after travel, we are providing information on Children's Day events," and he stated, "We will continue to enhance user experience through various location recommendations."
Meanwhile, data from T Map during last year's Children's Day showed that shopping malls such as Starfield Hanam, The Hyundai Seoul, and Hyundai Premium Outlet Space One ranked among the top, while the Sokcho Tourism Fish Market was the highest-ranked traditional market and Inspire Entertainment Resort ranked highest among lodging facilities.
