On the 30th, CAS Corporation announced that at the 'GITEX Asia 2025' event, research revealed that 71% of cyber security professionals in the Asia-Pacific region recognize cyber immunity as a strategy to minimize the invasion of cyber criminals and system damage.

This survey was conducted among 850 cyber security professionals worldwide, including the Asia-Pacific region, with 85% of respondents acknowledging the concept of 'cyber immunity.' Among them, 73% evaluated that the strategy could effectively reduce the intrusion capabilities of cyber criminals. Cyber immunity is a security design concept proposed by CAS Corporation, referring to IT and OT systems that are 'Secure by Design' based on specific development methodologies and architectural requirements.

About 36% of respondents indicated that cyber immunity could minimize the negative effects of cyber attacks, while 28% noted it could reduce the frequency of attacks. Approximately 35% responded that both could be achieved simultaneously. This indicates a growing necessity for building structurally secure systems beyond simple security solutions.

In response to these trends, CAS Corporation announced that it will expand the application range of its security operating system, KasperskyOS, from embedded platforms to general IT systems. KasperskyOS is designed to contribute not only to responding to cyber security threats but also to enhancing infrastructure resilience.

Adrian Hea, CAS Corporation's Asia-Pacific Regional Head, noted, 'It is very encouraging that experts familiar with the concept of cyber immunity recognize it as a reliable strategy, and in the context of digital transformation and the spread of artificial intelligence (AI), cyber immunity will become a core element of security strategy.'

Dmitry Lukyan, head of the KasperskyOS institutional sector, emphasized, 'An approach that considers security from the design stage is establishing itself as a new cyber security standard, going beyond the existing reactive model.'
