LG Electronics announced on the 30th that it has released the wireless vacuum cleaner "LG CordZero Objet Collection A9 AI" (A9 AI), which adjusts the suction power based on the customer's usage patterns analyzed by artificial intelligence (AI).

LG Electronics noted that customers using wireless vacuum cleaners experience the greatest inconvenience when the battery runs out and they cannot finish cleaning. Accordingly, they developed the "AI standard suction power control" feature, which allows the AI to analyze the customer's usual cleaning patterns and adjust the suction power automatically to continue cleaning based on the cleaning time and battery level.

LG Electronics enhanced the battery efficiency of the new product with an AI inverter that adds AI to one of its core component technologies, the inverter. The inverter converts the battery's direct current into alternating current to drive the motor, concentrating key technology that controls the motor's speed and adjusts the vacuum cleaner's suction power.

LG Electronics also upgraded the product's diagnostic features to allow customers to check battery levels, lifespan, and device problems, reducing the inconvenience of visiting service centers.

When customers link the A9 AI with the LG ThinQ app, they will be notified via the LG ThinQ app if there are any issues with the battery or device. The A9 AI's battery self-diagnosis function informs users of the battery lifespan on the main LCD screen.

The new product also enhances convenience features. The angle of the LED light at the vacuum cleaner's suction inlet can be finely adjusted downwards, allowing customers to clean dark and low spaces, such as under beds, by checking them. The "auto stop and go" feature, which stops operation if the vacuum cleaner is placed on the floor for more than 3 seconds and resumes when lifted, has been retained.

The A9 AI boasts up to 320 watts (W) of suction power without needing to replace to a separate large-capacity battery. Despite this, it weighs 2.54 kg, making it one of the lightest in its class, reducing strain on the wrist.

By using a subscription service, customers receive free aftercare (AS) as well as disassembly cleaning services every 12 months.

Jung Kwang-Woo, head of Living Solutions Marketing at LG Electronics Korea, said, "We will provide a new customer experience for wireless vacuum cleaners that reduce hassle through AI."
