On the 29th, Samsung Electro-Mechanics stated during its first-quarter earnings conference call for 2025 that “the shipment of multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) increased across all application areas.” It noted that “for IT, the release of flagship new models positively impacted shipments, while for industrial and defense, the expanded adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) servers and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) contributed to the growth in shipments.”

It added that “as the shipment increased, the inventory days decreased, and the average selling price (ASP) slightly decreased,” and stated, “In the second quarter, shipments and sales will continue to grow due to solid demand centered on high value-added products like AI servers and ADAS.”
