This tournament is a global event to showcase the battle content of Cookie Run: Oven Smash, which is currently in closed beta testing (CBT), through various combat modes. The Creator Cup will be simultaneously broadcast in Korean and English and will take place on the official YouTube channel starting at 12 p.m. on the 26th.
A total of 24 popular creators from Korea and overseas will participate in the tournament, forming 8 teams of 3 members each. Each team will belong to one of four factions: ▲Lactose ▲Cafe Fruits Bomber ▲Gongyukhoe ▲DJ Miya, and the main tournament will be conducted in three combat modes: 'Castle Break,' 'Gold Rush,' and 'Smash Arena.' The team that first wins 3 out of 5 sets in the final match will be declared the winner, and the winning team will receive a prize of 3 million won.
Prior to the main tournament, a battle royale-based pre-match will be held, featuring creators selected from each team. This individual event will consist of a total of 3 groups, each competing in 3 matches.
A user participation event is also set up. Before the tournament starts, participants can predict which faction the final winning team will belong to among the four factions. Correct guesses will earn them 30 epic potions and 1,000 coins to use during the CBT period. All participants will receive 30 rare potions and 1,000 coins.
Meanwhile, Cookie Run: Oven Smash has been conducting a global CBT from the 24th to the 30th. This test allows players to experience core content, including four game modes, 16 unique cookies with distinct abilities, and spell cards that enhance strategy.
