FADU announced on the 24th that it unveiled next-generation memory controllers and power semiconductors for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers at the TSMC event held in Santa Clara, California.
FADU was invited to the 'TSMC 2025 North America Technology Symposium' where it showcased its latest fifth-generation (Gen5) enterprise solid-state drive (SSD) controller 'FC 5161' and SSD products (U.2, E1.S), among others.
It also introduced a sixth-generation controller technology that is set to launch next year. The sixth-generation controller is noted for its performance improvements of more than double compared to power, making it a technology capable of addressing the power efficiency issues of AI data centers.
FADU also showcased its self-developed power management integrated circuit (PMIC) and power loss protection semiconductor (PLP IC), highlighting strategies for improving power efficiency in data centers.
The symposium is an event where TSMC invites partners to share new products and technologies from each company. FADU was invited for the first time to participate in the 'Innovation Zone,' a showcase for promising global startup technologies.
Lee Ji-hyo, CEO of FADU, said, 'We will actively develop technologies for future growth and expand cooperation with global customers and partners to establish ourselves as a comprehensive fabless company leading the data centers in the AI era.'
