Devsisters' development studio Oven Games announced through a live broadcast on the 23rd that they revealed their operational roadmap for this year on the 24th.
This year's operational plan is designed to encompass both new users and top-tier users. It will expand the paths for acquiring Legendary Cookies and treasures, making it easier for new users to adapt to the game, and improve the structure for collecting star candies. Additionally, a lending system for cookies within guilds will be introduced to broaden play opportunities.
Content for top-tier users will also be enhanced. 'Hall of History' that records key moments in the game and new challenge content will be added, and the 'World Championship 2025' esports tournament will be newly held. It will proceed with local preliminaries leading to the final winner being decided on the main stage in October.
The roadmap also includes key monthly update plans until October. ▲ At the end of April, new features will be added to the guild system, and characters from Cookie Run: Kingdom will make their debut. ▲ At the end of May, Season 10 will commence with the conclusion of the Dragon Tribe story, and ▲ at the end of July, a new episode combining the Sugar Tier story with the Crème Republic universe will be unveiled.
▲ At the end of August, the expansion of the Martial Arts universe will be accompanied by a large-scale overhaul of the random challenges, and ▲ at the end of September, a new detective run and '1 trillion challenge' content will be added. ▲ At the end of October, the 9th anniversary update will introduce a new cookie along with a 'map maker' feature that allows users to create their own maps.
Yeon Jeong-heum, the PD of Cookie Run: OvenBreak, noted, "We are preparing updates in a way that rewards the expectations of users who have stayed with us for a long time," and said, "We will strive to present content that users will be satisfied with."
