Nexon announced on the 24th that it added 8-person cooperative content 'RAY' and a new class category 'thief' through the first major update of 'Mabinogi Mobile,' titled 'Wind of Departure.'
The 'RAY,' which is being introduced for the first time, is content where up to 8 players cooperate to challenge the avatar of destruction 'Glasgibnen,' which appears in the latter part of Chapter 1 of Goddess' Ascension. 'Glasgibnen' is a being that combines a gigantic body and the spirits of the other world, attacking using swords in both hands and laser, as well as terrain destruction techniques.
Clearing the RAY grants various rewards such as 'gold,' 'rune fragments,' 'epic or elite mystic dice,' and the fashion gear 'Roaring Soul Set.'
In addition, a new class category 'thief' has also been added. The newly revealed jobs include ▲ a mobile class 'thief' using daggers, ▲ 'dual blade' that performs rapid consecutive attacks with twin swords, and ▲ 'fighter' who engages in powerful close combat based on martial arts.
Nexon is also holding various events to commemorate this update, including the 'RAY' clear event 'Darkness Crouching in the Maze' and the class growth event 'Challenge! The Path of Thief!' The events will provide various items for character growth, such as 'rune fragments,' 'rune rerouting prism,' 'elite accessory rune selection box,' and 'epic alchemy reforging catalyst.'
Additionally, clearing the 'Tower of Wraiths' content will reward players with various growth materials, such as 'rare alchemy reforging catalyst,' 'jewel skill crafting tool,' and 'enhancement reforging catalyst.'
