Naver announced on the 24th that its newly launched shopping app, 'Naver Plus Store,' has been continuing its initial success since its separate release last month.

Naver stated that the application of artificial intelligence (AI) recommendation features in Naver Plus Store has expanded the personalized experience, leading to an increase in the share of related transactions, with the share of transactions through AI recommendations and navigation being 20 percentage points higher compared to the existing Naver app.

Naver particularly noted the prominent acquisition of loyal 'regular customers.'

The cumulative number of subscribers for the brand store's own membership service, 'Lounge Membership,' increased by 383% compared to the same month last year, and the average transaction amount for the brand store last month rose by 33%.

It appears that the transaction amount for Naver Delivery, which underwent rebranding alongside the launch of the shopping app, has also increased. According to the company, the transaction amount for Naver Delivery as of last month doubled compared to the same period last year.

Naver plans to conduct a promotion starting next month that limits the usage fee for the Naver Delivery solution to within 5,000 won per product order.

CEO Choi Soo-yeon said, 'The initial service usability and growth rate exceed internal targets and the situation is proceeding smoothly.' She added, 'We will strengthen related investments to create an ecosystem where sellers and users can grow together by enhancing our advanced technology and service capabilities.'
