The Red Dot Design Award is considered one of the three major design awards in the world, along with the 'iF Design Award' and 'IDEA.' LG Electronics received a total of 36 awards at the recently held 'iF Design Award 2025,' and has again received numerous awards at this 'Red Dot Design Award.'
The world's first wireless and transparent TV, the 'LG Signature OLED T (model name 77T4),' received the Grand Prize. The LG Signature OLED T is an OLED TV that can switch between 'Black Screen' and 'Transparent Screen' modes with just the remote control. In Black Screen mode, viewers can enjoy content in 77-inch 4K (3840×2160) resolution. In Transparent Screen mode, viewers can see the space behind the screen, providing an augmented reality-like visual experience.
This product is a true wireless AV transmission solution that transmits 4K 144Hz video without loss or delay, creating a clean indoor space and enhancing viewing immersion. Peripheral devices such as console devices and set-top boxes that were previously connected to the TV main unit can be connected to a separate 'Zero Connect Box.'
The 'Mobile AI Home Hub (project name Q9)' won both the Best Innovation Award and the Grand Prize simultaneously. This product applies the AI agent LG PuriOn, which understands people and creates a convenient living environment beyond appliance control. Its friendly design, which communicates with customers with a variety of expressions, also received positive feedback. In particular, it was recognized for its excellence in serving as a smart space platform, earning the Best Innovation Award. This is the first time LG Electronics has received the Grand Prize in addition to the innovation award at the Red Dot Award.
