The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) announced on the 20th that they will operate the Korean Pavilion at the Dubai Artificial Intelligence (AI) Week event from the 21st to the 25th.
Dubai will host its first AI Week event, focusing on themes such as AI-based economy, educational innovation through AI, and the future of games and entertainment with artificial intelligence. This festival will involve over 8,000 business leaders, approximately 500 investors, and over 100 corporations participating in the exhibition, making it the only paid event during Dubai AI Week.
The NIPA UAE IT Support Center has set up a Korean Pavilion at the Dubai Artificial Intelligence Festival, supporting the participation of eight corporations including DEEPNOID, wrtn, ISG, Deepsea, EasyAI, Kurzglobal, Complexion, and Flamingo.
Professor Lee Jong-ho of Seoul National University (former Minister of Science and ICT) has been invited as a speaker by the organizers to deliver a speech on "Korea's AI policy and low-power semiconductors." Additionally, officials from Korean AI corporations such as Rebellion and Nota are expected to participate as speakers in major events.
