On the 18th, Google announced that it has launched a global campaign in collaboration with the K-POP group LE SSERAFIM to introduce the use of the Android operating system and the generative artificial intelligence (AI) model Gemini.
This campaign is centered around the music video "Come Over," created through collaboration between Android and K-POP artists for the first time, consisting of video content that naturally integrates the functions of Android and Gemini through everyday situations of LE SSERAFIM members.
In the music video and campaign footage, LE SSERAFIM actively demonstrates various AI use cases using Gemini, such as interpreting anagrams shot with the camera in real time, communication via text messaging, visual recognition-based spatial analysis, furniture assembly support, image information search, and foreign language translation.
Such content has been released as the "Come Over" music video on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel, and as a series of campaign videos on Google Play's official YouTube and the Android Instagram channel.
Shin Gyeong-ja, head of platform and device marketing for Google Asia Pacific and marketing lead for Google Korea, noted, "This collaboration with LE SSERAFIM is a case that presents new possibilities for AI use to global users through the fusion of K-POP and advanced technology," and added, "I hope this serves as an opportunity to showcase how practical and intuitive the functions of Gemini can be in daily life."
