The artificial intelligence (AI)-based supply chain management software corporation emro announced that its revenue for the first quarter of 2025 reached 20.63 billion won on the 18th. This marks a 41% increase from the same period last year, with the first quarter revenue exceeding 20 billion won for the first time since its establishment. During the same period, operating profit and net income were recorded at 960 million won and 1.04 billion won, respectively.
The company noted that this achievement comes amid an acceleration of the global supply chain restructuring due to President Donald Trump's high tariff policy announcement, leading to an increase in corporations' demand for direct purchasing solutions, which are essential for enhancing cost competitiveness and securing excellent partners.
Emro reported that steady demand for the introduction of customer purchasing systems and the expansion of overseas branches has led to a 49.6% increase in first-quarter license revenue compared to the same period last year, reaching 1.94 billion won. Additionally, due to the strong lock-in effect of its supply chain management software based on emro's unique purchasing expertise, technical fees from existing clients also totaled 3.52 billion won during the same period, an increase of 27.9% year over year.
Emro stated that it plans to accelerate its global competitiveness this year while continuing this trend. Specifically, it will promote its purchasing supply chain management (SRM) SaaS solution "Kaidensia" as it ventures into overseas markets. Since acquiring its first customer in the United States last year, the company, along with Samsung SDS, has been proposing solutions to leading corporations in the information technology (IT), automotive, and manufacturing sectors within North America. Emro expressed expectations for additional contract signings within the year as it continues to demonstrate its purchasing expertise and AI technology through demonstrations and solution validations.
The company plans to participate in the "Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Expo," the world's largest supply chain management event, to be held in May in the United States and Europe, to introduce "Kaidensia" and to expand its global sales.
An emro official stated, "The global supply chain chaos triggered by the tariff war originated in the United States is expected to serve as a growth opportunity for the direct purchasing solutions market." The official added, "The enterprise software sector in which emro operates is not directly affected by tariff policies, so we will leverage this market situation to accelerate growth in the global market this year."
