Salesforce announced that it unveiled the next-generation data analytics platform, 'Tableau Next,' integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) agent technology, at the 'Tableau Conference 2025' held in San Diego, California, from the 15th to the 17th local time.

Tableau Next is a platform that automates the complex process of data analysis and organically links the entire process from deriving insights to utilization. Tableau emphasized that this platform can lower the barriers to data analysis within organizations and enhance the level of utilization.

According to a survey conducted by Salesforce targeting 550 business leaders in the United States, 76% of respondents felt burdened by data-driven work, and 90% stated that having access to data within frequently used applications would help improve performance.

Tableau Next supports quickly obtaining necessary data based on natural language queries, and allows for immediate reflection of insights through correlation and anomaly pattern analysis. The integration with the Salesforce platform and Data Cloud also enhances data consolidation among organizations and enterprise-level security capabilities.

Tableau Next includes major features such as the AI-based data preparation tool 'Data Pro,' the natural language question-and-answer function 'Concierge,' and the data monitoring and trend prediction function 'Inspector,' all of which are expected to be sequentially launched domestically in 2025.

Ryan Aite, CEO of Tableau, noted, 'Tableau Next represents a new type of analytics platform where AI directly performs analysis and suggests execution plans,' adding that 'intuitive tools and AI agents can enhance work productivity and responsiveness.'

Wijiang Young, head of Tableau Korea's business, said, 'Tableau Next will be a core solution that drives data innovation within organizations based on AI agents.'
