SOFTCAMP and Frentree announced that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a joint business partnership at the DX Tower headquarters in Gwacheon on 17th.

The two companies plan to jointly respond to security threats related to data distributed in generative artificial intelligence (AI) and software as a service (SaaS) environments through this agreement and establish a collaboration framework for personal information protection and zero trust security implementation.

SOFTCAMP possesses security technology for generative AI and SaaS, while Frentree has technology for detecting personal and sensitive information, providing sophisticated and highly reliable security solutions by blending the core competencies of both companies.

In particular, they will jointly develop security orchestration technology for protecting personal information in work environments such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and ChatGPT, and based on this, they will expand into domestic and international markets. This technology will be integrated with SOFTCAMP’s existing security solutions to ensure compliance and safety in AI environments.

Frentree plans to develop dedicated specialized large language models (sLLM) that can be installed within corporations and extend to advanced technologies capable of detecting sensitive information, including credit and medical information.

Jang Chang-young, the representative of Frentree, noted, “Through this agreement, we will also advance the sales and marketing of SOFTCAMP products together.”

Bae Hwan-guk, the representative of SOFTCAMP, said, “This will be an opportunity to achieve personal information protection and zero trust security simultaneously amid the spread of generative AI and SaaS,” adding, “Based on the technical capabilities of both parties, we will present a new security standard.”
