The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced on the 14th that it will host the '2025 Blockchain Meetup Conference' at the Seoul Textile Center on the 24th in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and ICT.

This conference, themed 'Digital Trust Up! Blockchain Boost Up!', will be an opportunity to share the latest technological trends in blockchain and discuss future development directions.

The event will consist of morning and afternoon sessions, starting with an opening speech on 'The future created together by humans and artificial intelligence (AI)', followed by keynote speeches related to digital identity, asset tokenization, international standardization, and industrial growth.

The first session in the afternoon will focus on the theme 'Opening a Digital Trust Society with Blockchain,' sharing use cases of blockchain being introduced into everyday life and various industries, including the web, digital platforms, digital product passports, and digital wallets. The second session will continue with presentations on the topic 'Blockchain, the New Foundation of the Digital Economy,' covering trends in global legislation, deposits, stablecoins, token securities, and security regulations.

Kim Jeong-hee, head of KISA's Digital Safety Support Division, said, 'Through this conference, we will be able to confirm that blockchain is establishing itself as a core technology of the digital economy,' and noted, 'We will continue to work hard to create a trustworthy digital environment based on blockchain and AI technologies and support industrial growth.'
