Niantic announced on the 14th that it will begin the real-world game "Pokémon GO" event '1, 3, 2! It's now Ditto time!' starting from the 25th.
This event is divided into two parts: Part 1 will take place from April 25 to 27 across Seoul, and Part 2 will occur from May 9 to 11 nationwide.
During the event period, Ditto, transformed into various Pokémon such as 'Lapras,' 'Magikarp,' and 'Pikachu,' will appear in the wild for three minutes every hour from 10 a.m. to 7:59 p.m. each day, and players may encounter a shiny Ditto if they are lucky.
Players can obtain event-themed stickers by spinning the photo disks at PokéStops or gyms or by opening gifts, and in areas where 'Pokémon Town 2025' is held, the likelihood of obtaining those stickers will be higher.
Additionally, during the event period, the amount of 'stardust' earned when catching Pokémon will double, and the 'stardust' required for Pokémon exchange will be reduced by half.
Moreover, during Part 2, completing time-limited research will yield rewards such as 'XP' and 'stardust,' and research tasks will provide opportunities to encounter Ditto and shiny Pokémon.
