Nexon announced on the 14th that it has revealed the alpha test schedule for its upcoming action RPG "Vindictus: Defying Fate" and showcased a new teaser trailer.
"Vindictus: Defying Fate" is an action RPG optimized for consoles and PCs, based on Nexon's representative intellectual property "Mabinogi: Heroes" and the Celtic mythology universe. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, it delivers a heavy sense of impact and stylish combat, enhanced by various 3D characters and costumes for immersion.
Nexon verified the initial completeness of the game through its pre-alpha test last March and plans to conduct a global alpha test in June, which will expand the content and gather diverse user feedback to thoroughly assess the game's quality.
In this test, new characters "Delia" and "Karok" will be added alongside existing characters "Risitah" and "Fiona," and new content such as the "Fellow System," where companion NPCs support during battles, "Multiplayer" capable of four-player cooperative combat, and the "Village" system serving as a hub in the game will be introduced.
Additionally, the narrative elements will be reinforced by enhancing interactions with NPCs and the main story, while a growth system involving leveling, weapon crafting, and abilities will be incorporated to provide a deeper gameplay experience. High-quality graphics and action are expected to maximize the immersive experience unique to "Vindictus."
The teaser trailer released alongside showcased the characters' spectacular battles across various regions and introduced the new boss monster "Blood Lord."
