Samsung Display's labor and management announced on the 10th that they have signed a collective agreement for wages for 2025, which includes an average wage increase rate of 5.1%.
On the same day, Samsung Display held a signing ceremony for the 2025 collective wage agreement at the Giheung Campus SDR (Samsung Display Research), attended by Han Jun-ho, head of the People Team (vice president), and Yoo Ha-ram, head of the Samsung Display Open Branch of the Samsung Group Super Labor Union.
This year's average wage increase rate was determined to be 5.1% (base increase rate of 3% and performance increase rate of 2.1%). Samsung Display's labor and management began negotiations in January for the collective bargaining agreement and reached a preliminary agreement on the wage collective agreement draft on March 27 after about 10 rounds of negotiations.
Han Jun-ho noted, "Thanks to the trust between labor and management and continuous communication, we were able to conclude the collective bargaining agreement without disputes for four consecutive years," adding, "A mutually beneficial labor-management culture will be the driving force to overcome difficult business conditions and enhance the company's competitiveness."
