Samsung Electronics announced on the 2nd that it began full operation of its production lines more than 10 days earlier than last year.

This is a strategy to quickly respond to the influx of demand for artificial intelligence (AI) air conditioners, as this year’s heatwave is expected to arrive earlier than usual. The production line is producing everything from regular air conditioners to AI air conditioners that integrate innovative AI technology with the 'no wind' feature.

Following the introduction of the 2025 model 'Bespoke AI No Wind Combo Gallery' in February, Samsung Electronics completed its lineup of AI air conditioner new products by unveiling the 'Bespoke AI No Wind Classic,' 'AI No Wind Combo Wall-Mounted,' and 'AI Q9000.'

All models of the new AI air conditioners this year are equipped with various AI features such as AI comfort and AI energy-saving mode, enhancing consumer convenience. In particular, the AI energy-saving mode not only reduces energy consumption by up to 30% through situation-based customized power saving, but also provides monitoring of the predicted power usage of the air conditioner analyzed by AI each month, which is useful during the summer when air conditioners are used for extended periods.

Additionally, Samsung Electronics has started operating a dedicated air conditioner installation team about a month earlier than last year to provide fast and reliable air conditioner installation services.

Kim Yong-hoon, managing director of Samsung Electronics in Korea, said, 'In order to quickly provide air conditioners to customers who wish to purchase them in advance during spring, we have begun full operation of the air conditioner production line earlier than last year,' and added, 'I hope you prepare for the long and hot summer with Samsung Electronics' AI air conditioners.'
