Remember & Company announced on the 1st that it has appointed Song Gi-hong, former IBM ASEAN-Korea regional director, as a co-CEO.

The newly appointed CEO Song Gi-hong will oversee Remember's business division, focusing on organizing the structure and systems to accelerate the growth and outcomes of core businesses, while founder Choi Jae-ho will work as the general representative, managing the company's long-term vision planning, strengthening technological competitiveness, and exploring new businesses to drive future growth.

New CEO Song Gi-hong is a management strategy expert who led the improvement and growth of the company as the regional director for IBM ASEAN-Korea, guiding businesses in the IT field, including artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and quantum computing. Previously, he served as the Asia-Pacific regional director at the strategy consulting firm Monitor Group and as the representative of Deloitte Consulting, where he successfully proposed growth and global strategies for over 20 years for leading corporations at home and abroad.

In his inaugural speech, CEO Song noted, "Remember is a company with limitless potential to grow into Korea's leading business platform, already recognized for its value beyond talent recruitment in areas such as sales and marketing, based on its working member base," and said, "I am pleased to be on this journey as Remember aims to become a key partner for business growth in the Asian market beyond Korea."

Choi Jae-ho, general representative of Remember, said, "Having created remarkable growth so far, Remember is entering a new stage of growth, and we are pleased to have CEO Song Gi-hong, who combines experience and insight, on board." He added, "We will actively pursue substantial growth while continuously introducing innovative services that lead the market."
