HYBE IM announced on the 1st that it has secured an additional investment worth 30 billion won.

In this investment, existing investor IMM Investment added 15 billion won, while Shinhan Venture Investment and Daesung Private Equity participated as new investors. This reflects a positive evaluation of HYBE IM's global publishing and service capabilities, as well as the potential for expanding game business utilizing HYBE artist intellectual property (IP).

In particular, the expectations for the large-scale MMORPG "Architect: Land of Exile" and "Project Torch (tentative name)" played a role in the background of this investment attraction. HYBE IM had previously signed a strategic investment contract amounting to $80 million in August last year, bringing the total amount of cumulative investments, including this investment, to 137.5 billion won based on exchange rates.

The company plans to focus on marketing, operational optimization, and localization strategies to successfully launch its publishing titles and ensure stable live service operations.

Jung Woo-yong, CEO of HYBE IM, noted, "This additional investment attraction will be an important opportunity for HYBE IM to secure global competitiveness in both game publishing and development," adding, "We will leap forward as a 'next-generation game publisher' that provides attractive content to global gamers beyond just an IP-based game business."
