NCSOFT announced on the 31st that it will launch the MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) 'Lineage2M' in six Southeast Asian countries on May 20.
On the 29th, NCSOFT held a launch showcase in Bangkok, Thailand, in collaboration with its Southeast Asian partner VNGGames, revealing the release schedule. Local services will be provided by 'NCV GAMES,' a joint venture established by NCSOFT and VNGGames.
The launch countries are the six major Southeast Asian countries: Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. It will provide a gaming environment where all users in the region can enjoy the game on a single server. Users can enjoy Lineage2M through mobile phones and NCSOFT's gaming platform 'PURPLE.'
NCV GAMES focused on localization for the Southeast Asian market. It supports a total of five languages: English, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, and simplified Chinese, and reduced user burden by increasing the proportion of items that can be obtained through gameplay. In addition, it plans to support various programs and events, such as the 'Clan Support Program' to activate the clan system.
It improved convenience for Southeast Asian users based on operations and user feedback from existing service countries such as Korea, Taiwan, Japan, North America, and Europe.
NCV GAMES is currently conducting pre-orders for Lineage2M through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Southeast Asian users can check detailed information via brand websites and social media community channels for their respective countries.
