Park Yoon-kyu, the former second vice minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, has been appointed as the new president of the National Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
According to the IT industry on the 27th, President Park will hold an inauguration ceremony on the 31st and begin a three-year term.
President Park graduated from Seoul Central High School and Korea University with a degree in law, and has served as the head of the Information and Communications Policy Bureau and as a Director General in the Ministry of Science and ICT. NIPA is a public agency specializing in ICT that conducts business in various fields, including artificial intelligence, software, and global expansion of the ICT industry.
