Nexon announced on the 27th that it has officially launched the new MMORPG "Mabinogi Mobile" developed by its subsidiary Devcat, reinterpreting the emotions and values of its representative intellectual property (IP) "Mabinogi" for the mobile environment.
"Mabinogi Mobile" offers intuitive controls and community features that inherit the emotions and lifestyle content of the original work. It supports both horizontal and vertical displays, allowing users to switch freely according to their play style. The introduction of the "beginner support program" and the "magic compass" system has also enhanced convenience in adapting to the game.
With this launch, a total of seven servers have opened, and players can create characters by choosing one from among five class families, including warrior, archer, wizard, healer, and bard. After completing the class change quest, players can freely change classes through the "class change" system. Additionally, various social content such as the "Stellagram" and "chance meeting" systems are supported.
Users who pre-registered will receive the "RAY outfit set" and 50,000 gold, and through the official social media follow event, all users will receive a "romantic camping box," five "general dyeing agents," and 200,000 gold when the cumulative followers reach 70,000.
Additionally, a "reincarnation test" that reveals user preferences and a world-based "balance game" will be operated every Thursday for four weeks, along with various community events such as guild promotions, customization showcases, and landmark introductions. Some events will offer tangible prizes through a lottery.
In-game, various rewards such as the "launch celebration, Lhasa's special attendance book," and "launch celebration festival week" will provide items like the "formal school look outfit set," "wings of the spirit," and "fragments of runes."
Kim Dong-geon, CEO of Devcat, said, "We tried to implement the emotions of the original work, which has been loved for 20 years, to fit the mobile environment, and I look forward to the stories we will create together with the users."
