Naver Cloud noted that, as a result of actively supporting domestic Software as a Service (SaaS) corporations in obtaining Cloud Service Security Certification (CSAP), about 68% of corporations that received SaaS CSAP certification last year chose Naver Cloud.
To enter the public market, SaaS corporations must obtain CSAP certification, which can only be built on cloud infrastructure that has IaaS CSAP certification. Naver Cloud has established a support system based on its experience and references in the public market, becoming a trusted partner.
In particular, Naver Cloud provides a physically isolated network environment and globally recognized security certifications, and operates a 'Public SaaS Security Certification Support Program' for corporations facing demanding certification processes. Through this program, corporations can receive support for infrastructure expenses of 5 million won, expert consulting, and detailed guidebooks for various infrastructure items.
Modusign, an electronic signature service corporation, announced that it gained CSAP certification through this program and saw a rapid increase in public sector customers. More than 100 public institutions, including the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education, have completed implementation.
Yoon Hee-young, executive director of Naver Cloud, said, 'As a result of proactively establishing a system to support the SaaS ecosystem, more than half of domestic corporations have chosen Naver Cloud for four consecutive years,' and added, 'We will strengthen the support program to become the best partner for corporations entering the public market.'
The scale of public SaaS contracts in 2024 is expected to be around 7.59 billion won, more than doubling compared to the previous year.
